In the Ardennes, Tuesday will begin overcast. Elsewhere, sunny spells will alternate with cloudy periods, possibly still bringing the occasional wintry shower. As the day progresses, the sunny spells will spread across the Ardennes and the risk of showers will diminish. Maximum temperatures will range from -3°C in the High Fens to +3°C at the coast, with values close to 0 or +1°C in the central regions.
Tuesday evening and into the night, as a weather system approaches, cloud cover will increase from the west and may produce some light snowfall. Freezing fog could form again in the Ardennes. However, the first significant snowfall is not expected until late Tuesday night in the west. Frost will persist across much of the country, with lows ranging from -8°C in the Ardennes to +1°C along the coast.
